Time has finally come, after being in the beta program for some month I can now finally upgrade Connections 2.0 to the gold code.

The big thing here's I can finally "talk" about what I've seen and what I love in connections 2.0

Here are a few points too look while evaluating the new product release

Homepage

Is the new piece, you get an iWidget based dashboard system AND a great search engine that can crawl and index all your connections content.
This was needed and the result is very pleasant. The iWidget specification is going to change the way you build and extend web 2.0 application. The search engine is so powerful you won't believe it (it gives you an aggregated tagcloud, secure search across all the content and drill-down filtering on results).

Activities

Completely rewamped !!!! You can't imagine how good it is. It was a very good tool in connections 1.0 but with 2.0 it's so mature !!! You get, sections in activities, entry templates and activity templates. It's perfect and fast. I don't have to-do's anymore. Just activities.
